The dirty in the name refers to the character of certain hobbits, and certainly does not apply to the color of the blooms, which is, in fact, quite outstanding. Pollen is quite fertile, but pod fertility is doubtful, since I think the seedlings I have showing this cross as the pod parent are probably from one of its siblings. Supply is limited.
